Announcements: 5/11/15

  1. 1.If you are using a school-owned instrument, you are required to pay a $50.00 instrument rental fee.  Make checks payable to “Aiken High School.”

  2. 2.Make sure any field trip forms and registration forms that apply to your student are turned in with any money associated with that field trip.

  3. 3.The Senior Band Banquet is this Friday, May 15th @ South Aiken Presbyterian.  Bring food and drinks by 5:30, dinner starts at 6:00. 

  4. 4.All forms and fees for the 2015-2016 School year are due for Marching Band members now.  Please make all checks out to the AHSBBC.

13-Junior Drum Major audition practice 4-5

14-Marching Band Rehearsal 3:45-5:00. Junior Drum Major auditions during marching band. 

15-Senior Band Banquet @ South Aiken Presbyterian Church in Gym.  Bring food by 5:30.  Dinner starts at 6:00PM. Freshmen bring side dishes, Sophomores and Juniors bring main course food, Seniors bring dessert except for cake.  EVERYONE brings a 12 pack of brand name drinks.  Everyone please bring enough to feed your family plus one or two.

19-Jazz Band 3:45-5:00

20- After School Rehearsal for Symphonic Band and Orchestra for Senior Awards day. 3:30-4:15

21-Marching Band Rehearsal 3:45-5:00

22-Senior Awards day at AHS.  Symphonic Band and Orchestra is performing at ceremony.  Concert Black.

23 - Memorial Day Parade.  Call time 10:00AM, Step off @ 11:00AM.

26- Jazz Band 3:45-5:00

28-Jazz Band 3:45-5:00

30-Jazz Band goes to Carowinds.  Call time 7:15AM.  Depart @ 7:45AM.
